Shampoo glass is a special lead glass that is so unique and beautiful that you have to have it. The COE is 95 and has that pearliness look of Pert Shampoo. You have to work this glass cool and out in the flame. If you over heat this glass is will go transparent and you will not be able to strike it back. So be careful with your heat and use your stainless steel tools to prevent sizzling.

There is a special clear encasing glass to be used with the Shampoo glass that can not be used with other lead glass. You can mix the transparent lead glass with the Shampoo glass, if you want to use the opaque lead you will need to test it first. I found that I could make encased stringers and incorporated stringers into the bead. Spacer beads made with this glass will pay your booth cost at any show.
